West Valley Art Museum Presents Mary Petrich and Beth Lederman, Warren Jones, and Emmerson Laffy. Thursday, October 2nd from 7-9pm

MARY PETRICH AND BETH LEDERMANT
Saxophonist Mary Petrich and pianist Beth Lederman have been joining their musical forces for nearly ten years. They are very much in demand in the Phoenix area where they make their home.

Both women are classically trained, but the spontaneity and rhythm of jazz has emerged as the driving force in their musical careers.

Mary and Beth have collaborated with other musical greats from all over the world, backing such artists as: The Diamonds, Bobbie Vinton, Donald O'Connor, Pancho Sanchez. Monica Mancini........ and others, as well as working throughout the west with their own groups. Influences from Brazilian music and latin jazz as well as innovative arrangements of jazz standards, shape their repertoire with a distinctive sound which is creative, yet accessible.

Whether working as a duo, or filling out into trios or quartets, Mary and Beth always bring swing, joy and passion to their music.
